Flyin W Ranch was created out of a passion for disc sports born with the friendship of Darrell Lynn, who introduced many in the Memphis area to "Frisbee". We know that Darrell is with us on course, sharing the joys, laughter, and an occasional snicker when the opportunity arises. His grin and quick humor will forever be remembered. He was also behind many of the friendships developed, who ultimately shaped the course of things when planning began.

Originally designed by another long time friend,Greg Hosfeld, who was noted for saying something like..."We have a problem, I've never had this size property to work with" as he went through woods juggling a chainsaw, machete, and whatever else he could pick up.
The course has evolved or been shaped by storms, wind and water, and regular use. As it goes through changes, Gregs vision will always be considered as well as preserving the natural landscape features that make it a unique experience.
Of course it could not have happened without the efforts of many other friends in the local area, Larry, Keith, Rich, Gary, Ben, and many more. Job well done!
